Moline (6-3) will play host to Pekin(6-3) in the first round of the IHSA Class 7A playoffs. Game date and time is TBA. This will mark the third time these teams have met in playoff games. They have split the previous two contests.

A week after claiming an undefeated WB6 conference championship, the Moline Maroons fell in non-conference action to Rich South 26-19. Despite the loss, Moline will host a first round playoff game against Pekin.

The Moline Maroons (5-2,4-0) travel to VanDyke Stadium looking to complete an undefeated WB6 season and the school’s fifth outright title since the conference began 41 years ago. The Streaks (1-6,0-4) are searching for their first conference win in 5 tries. Moline is coming off of an impressive shootout victory against UT last week and are riding a 4 game winning streak coming in to tonight and has already clinched a playoff birth.
VS 
Moline (4-2,3-0) and UTHS (2-4,2-1) will square off in week 4 of WB6 play at Browning Field. The Maroons are coming off of a huge victory against Alleman in week 3 while UT suffered their first conference loss at Quincy last week. Moline is looking to clinch no worse than a tie for the conference title, while the Panthers are looking to ruin Moline’s homecoming festivities and keep their slim title hopes alive.

The Maroons are coming off of an impressive win against Rock Island in week one of Big Six action, while Quincy is looking to get in the win column after a tough loss against Quincy last week.

The Maroons take on Crete Monee in the home opener at Browning Field. Moline is coming off a 47-19 loss to O’Fallon, while Crete Monee comes in at 2-0 on the season and ranked 5th in Class 6A. This is the third straight week the Maroons face a state ranked opponent.

The Moline Maroons traveled to O’Fallon Friday night and came away with a 47-19 loss at the hands of the Panthers. The Maroons were seeking to go 2-0 for the first time since 1999. Moline will host Crete-Monee Friday in the home opener.
